The software would not run any more (i.e. does not continue to run for any other setting) if a wrong custom search is used. The software has to be restart again.
For example, I run the data from https://turingbotsoftware.com/forum/d/12-can-you-help-to-fit-please normally, and then stop it and run it using a wrong function like y = f()+exp(f(x)-sin(x+2f)) in the custom search; afterwards, the software does not response or continue to run even if stop it and set a correct function, like y=f()+f(x), or other settings.
However, it appears no problem for previous version, e.g. v2.16.
