TuringBot Software develops desktop software for symbolic regression: given a dataset, it searches for the explicit mathematical formula that describes it, rather than fitting a black-box model. The result is an equation you can read, check, publish, and deploy anywhere.
It is used by engineers, researchers, and analysts who need a model they can inspect and defend, including at universities, engineering firms, and government agencies.
The software
TuringBot runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux as a single installer, with no language runtime to set up. It also has a command line mode and a Python library for scripting and automation.
Development began in 2019 and the first public release was in February 2020. It has been updated continuously since then, and every release is documented in the changelog.
